NYSERDA incentives: Green Jobs/Green NY – You may receive a 10% incentive up to $1,300 which can be paired with a 3.49% loan. Also, you may qualify for a $5,000 grant which can be paired with a $5,000 loan at 3.49% (up to 10 years).

Federal Incentives:

Maximum tax credit is $500, this includes any tax credits taken between 2006 and 2010.
(i.e. If you’ve already taken $500 or more, you are no longer eligible for the tax credit)

• $200 for a 95% AFUE furnace with an ECM motor
• $300 for a 0.82 EF on-demand water heater
• $150 for a 95% AFUE Boiler
• $200 for installation of windows and doors (maximum 10% of installed price)
• $500 for insulation (10% of the costs up to $500)
• $300 for an electric heat pump that meets the highest tier established by the Consortium for Energy Efficiency
• $300 for an electric air conditioner that meets the highest tier established by the Consortium for Energy Efficiency
